Elizabeth joined the NPSA as the CEO in November 2018. Elizabeth led the NPSA negotiation team on the Seventh Community Pharmacy Agreement – a once in a five-year Government funding agreement that underpins community equity and access to all publicly funded medicines Australia wide.
Elizabeth managed the organisation during the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to build on partnerships with stakeholders and governments to protect and improve community access to medicines, treatments and vaccines.
Elizabeth is focused on connecting industry capability with public health initiatives to drive efficient and effective use of both commonwealth and state health funding.
Prior to her role with the NPSA, Elizabeth held senior leadership roles in many industry sectors including pharmacy, healthcare, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, higher education, professional services, franchise and loyalty.
Peter is a highly experienced general counsel and company secretary. He joined NPSA in August 2023.
Peter’s career spans more than 30 years across a range of senior corporate governance, public affairs and legal roles. He has worked locally and overseas for a number of multinational corporations involved in the manufacturing, wholesale, retail and technology sectors.
In 2019, Peter established his own corporate and commercial legal practice. Prior to this, he was General Counsel and Company Secretary for Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Limited for 11 years.
Peter is currently a director on two not-for-profit boards and keeps an active interest in matters pertaining to corporate governance, strategy, compliance and commercial transactions.
Solrun has over 20 years’ experience in communications and marketing across pharmacy and wholesalers. She joined NPSA in December 2022 as Stakeholder & Public Affairs Manager.
Prior to this, Solrun was the Corporate Communications Advisor at Sigma Healthcare. She’s also worked at Arrotex Pharmaceuticals, was Corporate Relations Manager at ASX-listed company Symbion Health, and worked in marketing and project management for the Pharmacy Division of Mayne Health.
Solrun’s career to date has focused on education and working with government, industry bodies and pharmacy to strengthen and safeguard the distribution of medicines across Australia.
A seasoned Executive Assistant, Rebecca handles all of NPSA’s business administration needs. Her role includes managing finance and accounts, planning, and providing invaluable support to the broader NPSA team.
Rebecca has been a trusted partner to executives and leadership teams for more than 25 years. She has worked in Executive Assistant and administration roles across the health advisory, legal and banking sectors and for organisations including The Strategic Counsel, Santone Lawyers, Babcock & Brown and Bankers Trust.
Rebecca joined NPSA in 2016.
